BIT Wardha Trio Takes 2nd Prize in GYANSABHA 2024 Poster Presentation

 

Wardha, April 6, 2024: Rushi Borkar, Renuka Alwadkar, and Pooja Kotkar, budding talents of first year engineering from Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT), Wardha, clinched the 2nd prize in the GYANSABHA 2024 poster presentation competition organized by YCCE, Nagpur.

Competing in final round, against more than 19 teams from across the state, the trio showcased their creativity and knowledge on the theme ‘Chemistry in Everyday Life.’ Mentored by Dr. Vivek Bhusari, Dr. Vijay Deshmukh, Dr. Naina Jagyasi, and Ms. Amruta Yadav, the trio – Rushi, Renuka, and Pooja’s project delved into the diverse applications of chemistry in daily routines, from cleaning products to food and medicine.

Their presentation, held on April 5, 2024, impressed the judges with its originality and relevance. The team creatively explored various chemistry facts, intriguing the audience with explanations on why onions make you cry and how pickle can extend its shelf life. Despite stiff competition, the trio’s hard work paid off as they were awarded the 2nd prize, accompanied by a trophy and certificate, recognizing their innovative approach and presentation skills. They were congratulated by Shri Sanjay Bhargava, Chairman – Shiksha Mandal, Dr. Narendra Kanhe, Principal of BIT, and faculty members. This achievement, further solidifies BIT’s reputation as a hub for academic excellence and innovation.
